Leadership, Culture, Growth with Brian Perdue

Where is your business heading?

This is a question that most salon owners cannot answer. So, we ask you, what is your salon vision and do you have the leadership skills to see it through? Maybe you’re a self-employed stylist, are you practicing the disciplines that it takes for sustained growth?

In this breakout session, you’ll take a peek inside the mind of Brian Perdue as he shares on vision and what it takes to lead his company of 6 salons,150 stylists (and growing) and a cosmetology school. He’ll share why most salons and hairstylists never reach their potential and his strategy for growth in this ever transitioning market. (here’s a hint, become a hairstylist development company).

When Brian first open the doors of Salon 124 in 1991, he couldn’t have imagined the success and growth it would have over the next few decades. After identifying the gap in the suburban Atlanta market of an upscale salon experience, Brian set out to accomplish this vision not only by creating a beautiful space, but also by finding and training the best talent in the area.

Over the past 28 years, Salon 124 has grown to a company that includes a thriving cosmetology school, 6 salons and over 200 employees with total revenues of over $10 million per year. Even with these impressive accolades, Brian feels his biggest accomplishment has been building a stylist development company that is centered around the growth of others.
